Baptist Sports Medicine will be conducting sports physicals at GMS. These physicals will be only for students who will be in the sixth and eighth grades next year. The State Board of Education now requires that rising seventh and ninth grade students have a physical that includes lab work and will have to be done by your physician. The students will need to bring the physicals forms signed by their parents (or bring a parent who can sign it), as well as $10 cash or check made out to Baptist Sports Medicine. If they are receiving any specific treatments from a physician which might otherwise prevent sports participation, they need to bring a letter from their treating physician explaining that condition.
Those interested should report to the commons on Tuesday, May 13th at 6:00. Physicals are usually conducted on a first come/first served basis.
