Strawberry Bread

  • 2 (10 ounce) packages frozen strawberries, thawed
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1-1/2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup oil
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tbsp. cinnamon
  • Steps -

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

    2. In large bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1-1/2 cups sugar and mix with wire whisk to blend.

    3. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the pureed strawberries, eggs, vanilla, oil, and mix just until combined.

    4. Pour into 2 greased 9" x5" loaf pans4..

    5. In small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons sugar and 1teaspoon cinnamon and mix well. Sprinkle over the batter.

    6. Bake for 50-65 minutes, or until dark golden brown and toothpick inserted into center of loaf comes out clean. Remove from pans and let cool on wire racks.

    Brioche un Chocolat

    • 1 package refrigerated crescent rolls
      8 heaping
      teaspoons chocolate chips
      Powdered sugar

    1. Open the crescent rolls. Lay each triangle out flat. Place 1 tbsp. of chocolate chips in the center of each one and fold the edges toward the center until it is mostly sealed up.

    2. Place each in the bottom of a greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.

    3. Bake at 350 degrees for about 13 - 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove each pastry with a spatula; place it on a plate and dust with powdered sugar. Bon appetite!
