 Parent Connection

What is parent connection and how do I sign up?

Parent Connection is a new feature of our electronic gradebooks! It is a web based tool that gives parents the opportunity for proactive involvement in their children's academic success. Accessible through the Internet, Parent Connection allows parents to monitor their children's grades throughout the school year.

Again, signing up for an account for Parent Connection does not grant immediate access to grades.  Grades will then appear in Parent Connection when teachers enter them into their electronic grade book. Please allow adequate time for assignments to be graded and entered into this system.

Signing up for this feature also allows parents to view progress reports online as well as to set triggers that notify them when their child’s grades have fallen below a designated average.

In order to sign up for an account you must first sign the WCS agreement then follow the directions to log on and create an account.  In addition to demographic information, you will also be asked to provide your child’s student ID number. Student id numbers are the students lunch number preceded by 10000. You should receive your child’s id number when you receive your sign up information. If it is misplaced, please understand that it can only be given out in person as it is considered confidential personal information.

We look forward to implementing this new program! We are confident that it will be of great value to you as well as further promote the academic success of your child. We encourage you to sign-up and create your account in advance so that your account will be up and running when we return from Winter break.
