Hi! I am Janie Bengard and I am very excited about our new school year at Heritage Elementary. I grew up on a farm in Iowa. I graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a degree in early childhood education. For fifteen years, I owned and operated a state licensed preschool. I taught kindergarten in Johnston, Iowa for 14 years before coming to Williamson County.

My husband, Mike and I have two daughters. Megan lives in Nashville and Ashley (and Erik) live in Iowa.

I will soon begin  my fifth year of teaching at Heritage.  I will be teaching the Pre-K class after teaching kindergarten for four years.  My goal is to instill a love of learning in my class. We will have a great year!
