Welcome back to another Super year at Heritage Elementary!  I am very excited to be teaching 5^th grade and am looking forward to a wonderful year full of new experiences!  Here are a few things that you might like to know about me…….

I grew up in Columbia, Tennessee, just south of good ole’ Spring Hill/Thompsons Station.  I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 1991 with my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.  I then moved with my husband, Harry, to Atlanta, Georgia where I was an Asst. Director of our church daycare until we moved to South Florida.  I taught 1^st and 2^nd grade in South Florida for 5 years and then in 2001 we moved back to be closer to family and friends in Tennessee.  I taught 3^rd grade at Heritage Elementary for six years and last year “graduated” to 5^th grade!  I can’t wait to start my second year teaching 5^th grade.

I live in Spring Hill with my husband Harry and our 2 fantastic children; Dustin, 13 and Madi, 10.  We share our house with our pet menagerie; 2 dogs, Midnight and Pumpkin, our 3 hermit crabs, and fish.

I loved teaching 5^th grade last year and can’t wait to start a new school year.  I am looking forward to a wonderful year with students that I already know and many that I can’t wait to meet and get to know!
