Hello Heritage family. It is hard to
believe that this is my 9th year teaching. Apparently, time
really does fly when you are having fun. I am so blessed to
be able to enjoy going to work.
In 2001, I earned a Bachelor’s Degree from
Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN. Later
that summer, I married my husband, Neal, and moved to
Memphis. I taught Kindergarten for Memphis City Schools for
three years. While in Memphis, I earned a Master’s Degree
from Union University. We moved to Spring Hill, and I began
teaching Kindergarten here at Heritage. I fell in love with
the school and community. After two wonderful years in
Spring Hill, we decided to move to our hometown, Pulaski. I
loved my job so much that I decided to make the long commute
each day. My commute grew from 0.8 to 54 miles one way!
I enjoy spending time with Neal and our
dog, Molly. She is a very loving and loyal golden retriever.
Our veterinarian once told us "Goldens are either smart or
beautiful…Molly is beautiful." She does lots of funny things
to keep us busy.
This time of year is always exciting. I
cannot wait to meet you and your child!
