Hello HES Parents and Students!! My name is Amanda Gentle, and I am so excited to be part of the 2nd grade team this year at Heritage Elementary!

I was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama, but I moved to Arkansas to attend Harding University where I received my B.A. in Early Childhood Education.  This summer I also received my Masters in Reading from Harding University.  I moved to Nashville at the beginning of August.  This will be my first year teaching, and I could not be more excited!

Other than teaching, I enjoy tennis, going to the river, church, spending time with friends and family, and reading.  I also LOVE animals!

Teaching is my passion and helping my students succeed is of upmost importance to me.  I am looking forward to a great school year!
