Hello! My name is
Marie Miller and I am very excited to be your child’s 4th
grade teacher for the 2009-2010 school year!
I have lived in Spring Hill for the
past 5 years. My husband and I have been together 18
years and we have three beautiful children. Ben, our
oldest, is in 7th
grade at
Heritage
Middle School.
My daughter, Alyssa is in 4th grade and my youngest son,
Jacob is in 1st grade, here at Heritage Elementary.

I attended
Purdue
University,
where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary
Education with a minor in Special Education. I attended
the
University
of
Kansas,
where I received my Masters Degree in Special
Education/Learning Disabilities. I have taught Pre-K in
Kansas,
third grade in Indiana
and 6-8th
grade Special Education in Kansas
City,
Missouri.
I currently hold my TN Teaching License for Grades K-6
and Special Education K-12.
I am enthusiastic about teaching and
inspiring each of my students to set and achieve new
goals. I have no doubt that we will work hard each day,
have fun learning, grow in knowledge and be challenged
to excel and succeed!
