Welcome to Heritage for the 2009-2010 school year, my name is Erin Whaley.   This will be my sixth year teaching and I'm excited to be a part of the fourth grade team again this year!  I am originally from Durham, North Carolina and lived there until I moved to Tennessee.  I went to Appalachian State University (Go Mountaineers!) where I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. After graduating from college I moved back to Durham and taught fifth grade for one year.  During the summer of 2005, I decided to moved to Tennessee and the rest is history. 

In my free time I enjoy reading, working on puzzles, watching sports (football, baseball, and college basketball), and travelling to North Carolina to see my friends and family.  I look forward to working with you and your child this year!
