My name is Christina Woods, formally Christina Clarke.  I got married last April over Spring Break. I am very excited to be back at Heritage Elementary School for the 2009-2010 school year. 

 I am originally from Huntsville, Alabama, where I lived for the majority of my life.  I graduated from the University of North Alabama in Florence, AL with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.  I taught a year in the Huntsville City School System before I moved to Tennessee to specifically teach in the Williamson County School System.  I landed a job teaching Kindergarten at Heritage 7 years ago and haven’t left yet.  Within the 4 years I taught Kindergarten at HES, I also attended MTSU and received my Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction.  Two years ago, I felt I needed a change and moved to First Grade. I loved it so much that I decided to stay.  This will be my 3rd year to teach First Grade.

I am super excited to be teaching  1^st again this year and I look forward to all that this year holds for the parents, students, and staff members of HES!
