Attendance Regular school attendance is vital to ensure your child's educational success.  If your child is absent,  please send a note upon his/her return stating the reason for the absence.  If a note is not received, the absence is unexcused.

The state requires that we count attendance carefully.   A student who is in attendance less than the major portion of the state required minimum school day (6 1/2 hours for grades 1-12; 4 hours for K) shall not be counted in attendance for any portion of that day.

Before and After School Programs  Extended care of students before and after school is provided through the Franklin Family YMCA's Fun Company.
