This past week the Tennessean announced its annual selections for the All Mid-State baseball team and which players would represent the best of Tennessee for high school baseball for this past season. The Tennessean selected one Independence Baseball player to receive the honor of being named to the All Mid-State team. Junior Infielder Josh Lee was named to the third team by the Tennessean. The voting is compiled from  high school sports staff, Tennessean and area coaches.
