Independence was just waiting in the wings to see whom
they would play in the second game to have the right to
advanced to the 11-AAA championship. Brentwood and
Ravenwood squared off in the first game with the Raptors
coming out on top with a 7-2 victory. Then The Raptors
had to face the hottest team in the district tournament
thus far, the Independence Eagles. The Eagles have

one hit and recorded 17 strikeouts of its opponents in

the inning and three more in the bottom of the second.
As for the Indy pitching, Dylan Toscano rang up six
Raptors and recorded his sixth win of the season (6-1)
and the Eagles advance to the District 11-AAA

The game will be held at Overton High School.
