Eagles Senior pitcher, David Lipscomb signee, Brandon Rowe recorded his fifth win of the season to go to 5-1 overall as Independence rallies to defeat a tough Brentwood squad by the same score of 5 to 1. The Bruins jumped out early in the top of the first with a 1-0 lead. However, the Eagles would pound in two runs in the third and three more in the fourth to get the victory. The Eagles scored five runs on six hits and only committed one error on the night. With only one regular season game left before the district tournament begins, the Eagles are playing for at least the second place seeding and the right to host the tournament.
