Two days in a row the Independence baseball team had to face the Centennial cougars in important district match up. Both games the Eagles were able to play solid and have minimal errors on their part. In game 1, the Eagles were able to silence the Cougars roar with a 3-0 shutout victory.. Game 2, saw the Eagles muscle as they pounded out 18 runs on 22 hits to run rule Centennial after five innings and get the 18-4 victory.
