Eagles Athletics

The Indy Eagles wrestling team soundly defeated a strong Mt. Juliet team by the score of 65-12. The Eagles nearly swept all the weight classes except for the 103 lbs, loss due to forfeit, and the 119 lbs class. Cory Hunt loss on pin fall. For the rest of the team they cruised to their victories, making sure that the rest of the state realize that Independence success last season is not a one time thing. The Eagles will be a force to be reckoned with again this year.

Tonight (Wednesday) Independence will be taking on Antioch, Overton and Siegel @ Antioch with a start time of 5:30. The results from the Mount Juliet match are as follows:
