Last night Independence hosted and took the
victory against Clarksville Northwest, 54-18. The victory
continued the success the wrestling team has experienced all
season long. The win places the Eagles as the number 3 team in
the state.
"Our
wrestlers, wrestled very hard last night and bounced back very
well after suffering a defeat at our previous tournament!"
Coach Grindstaff also commented about this weekend's tournament
in Chattanooga, "This
weekend we are traveling to Chattanooga to the Soddy Daisy
Invitational. By far this will be our toughest tournament of the
year!"
