The mission of the Independence High School Media Center is to assist students at Independence in becoming effective users of ideas and information. The media center staff is committed to facilitating students and faculty in accessing a wide variety of resources which represent various points of view on current and historical issues in print, non-print, electronic, and online format. Our staff affords each student and faculty member the opportunity to read, view, listen and discuss a diverse collection of information in order to learn to think creatively and objectively.
