Library Media Center

--Each student is issued an label containing a bar code. This bar code label is attached to the first-year planner and is used for 4 years.  Please present your planner with the bar code label when checking out books in the library media center.  The bar code number on the label  is also the student ID number for logging into the network computers.

--Regular collection books may be checked out for a 2-week period.  Books may be renewed for an additional 2 weeks.  Fines are 10 cents a day for overdue books.

--Students may use the Library Media Center during study hall during the day. Prior approval  must be obtained from the librarian.  Sign up before school or during break for a library pass.  First come, first serve.  Limited space is available. Please sign in when you arrive in the library media center.

--A copier is available for student use.  Copies are 10 cents. The machine does not make change.

-- Computer stations in the library are used only for research or for activities directly related to instruction. GAMES ARE NOT PERMITTED. ONLY GAGGLE EMAIL IS PERMITTED.

--NO FOOD OR DRINK.

--DO NOT DOWNLOAD, INSTALL OR REMOVE ANY SOFTWARE ON ANY COMPUTER.

--DO NOT SHARE YOUR ID OR PASSWORD WITH ANY STUDENT FOR ANY REASON.

--PRINT ONLY WHAT YOU REALLY NEED. In most cases cut and paste into MS Word or use special guidelines to print.

Rules for Library Behavior:
