POGS is the acronym for Parents of Graduating Seniors. We are an organized group of parent volunteers that will plan activities and rewards for the IHS 2009 graduating class. Some of the events and items that we help coordinate are: 1) Sell senior passes 2) Raise money for activities thru parental and corporate sponsorships, 3) Select & implement the monthly activities & rewards with the 's school administration approval, 4) Assist with Homecoming Floats in regard to the work site selection, food, and arrangements, 5) Graduation Breakfast and 6) Decorate Senior lockers prior to graduation.

We do NOT handle: 1) Prom, 2) Graduation or 3) Baccalaureate

Some of the activities we have planned include providing seniors with a luncheon purchased from area restaurants, keepsake items, tailgate parties, and fun competitions where seniors compete against the teachers and staff.

As of right now, we have approximately 440 graduating seniors for 2009. With a senior class of this size, we will need a lot of parental support and volunteer assistance. If you would like to and can contribute your time, donation of items or financial support please contact Paige Esch (eschfamily4@yahoo.com or 615-289-5613) or Amy Eisnaugle (eisnamy@yahoo.com or 615-210-4127).  Any contributions should make use of this form.
