POGS is the acronym for Parents of Graduating Seniors. We are an organized group of parent volunteers that will plan monthly rewards for the IHS 2010 graduating class. Some of the events and items that we help coordinate are:
- Sell senior passes
- Raise money through parental and corporate sponsorships & donations
- Select & implement a monthly reward with the school's administration approval
- Graduation Breakfast
We do NOT handle: Prom, Graduation or Baccalaureate.
Some of the monthly activities we have planned include providing seniors with luncheons purchased from area restaurants, cookout, t shirts, decorate senior lockers and lanyards.
As of right now, we have approximately 430 seniors for 2010. With a senior class of this size we will need a lot of parental support and volunteer assistance.
