Lipscomb Parent Teacher
Organization
Lipscomb Elementary has a very active
Parent-Teacher Organization.
The PTO coordinates activities with
the faculty and staff to benefit
the students and school.
A wonderful way for any parent to get
involved is to volunteer to help
in the programs the PTO supports.
You can volunteer anywhere
from helping in the Clinic, the Welcome
Desk, the cafeteria and
Library or work “behind the scene” as a member
of the PTO Board of
Directors. These are just a few areas where
volunteers are
needed. Lipscomb loves parent volunteers and will always find a
place for you.
The PTO has fundraisers through the year to raise money to
provide
activities and tools to benefit the children and school.
Some of these
areas include the computer lab and keyboard teacher, the
outdoor
classroom and all Second through Fifth grade classes having
21st Century classrooms.
The PTO meets in the Lipscomb Library. The
dates for meetings are located on the link to the school calendar.
Everyone is always welcome to come and hear the discussions about issues
facing our students and the plans involving our school.
