Lipscomb Elementary School

The Celebrations Book Club is an exciting opportunity for you to honor your child and also make a contribution toward the purchase of new books for the school library.

In December and May of each year, parents may donate $20.00 and dedicate a book in their child's honor to recognize a school-sponsored event, such as reaching an AR goal, reading 100 books, or earning a Gold Medal. Birthdays and graduations from each grade level may also be celebrated.

Students are invited to a "Celebration" where they enjoy breakfast treats and select a book of their choice. Personalized book plates are placed inside the book to commemorate the special event. The books then go into circulation for the whole school to enjoy.

The Celebrations Book Club was started in May 2006, and to date we have added 431 new books to our library.
