Meredith Atchison, Fourth Grade

 

Welcome to another wonderful year at Longview Elementary!  To tell you a little about myself, my name is Meredith Atchison and this is my 9th year teaching and 3rd year at LVES teaching fourth grade.  I am a true Vanderbilt fan having earned my Master's there where I specialized in reading and math remediation.

 I have two wonderful children who make me laugh every single day with their antics.  I am an avid reader and enjoy going to the movies in my spare time as well as shopping.

 As a teacher, I believe in the importance in educating the entire child through engaging and meaningful lessons in order to help them become well-rounded individuals.  I think that learning should be fun and that and it is my mission to foster a love for learning in each student.
