Hi!  My name is Brooke Barnes and I am really looking forward to another great year at Longview Elementary.  To tell you a little about myself, I grew up in Nashville, TN, graduating from Overton High School.  For college, I went to MTSU to earn my B.S. in Elementary Education.  Over the past 9 years, I have enjoyed teaching Kindergarten and Fourth grade in Williamson County. This is my first year teaching third grade. My five years of experience in fourth grade will give me a great insight into what my students need in order to be prepared for fourth grade. I am very excited about this new adventure!

My husband, Todd, and I have two sons, Michael and Chris.  We live here in Thompson Station and love this community!  In my spare time, I enjoy reading, shopping, painting, and playing outside with my boys. 

My personal belief is that every child has the right and the ability to learn.  Therefore, it is my job to facilitate that journey.  I love hands-on learning experiences and I believe that learning should be fun.  This will most definitely be an adventure.  I can’t wait to begin this journey with you.
