On
behalf of the entire staff, Welcome to Longview Elementary
School!
As many of you already know, Williamson County Schools works
diligently towards creating a state-of-the-art facilities
designed with children in mind. Longview is no
exception, but it is the staff that truly makes Longview a
child-centered place. In our first year our staff came
together and formed a family that serves together in an
effort to reach every child where they are and assist them
in growing into all they can be. As we continue to
serve with our Spring Hill community, we will dedicate our
efforts to continuous improvement as a school of dedicated
adults at the heart of our learning community. During our
first year we discovered that we were "Solid to the Core."
Then we were truly "WiLD about Longview!" It has taken two
years to get to this point and we look forward to showing
you what we can do at Longview this year…“Lights, Camera,
Longview!”
My wife, Debbie, and I have lived in Spring Hill community
with our four children since the summer of 2003. I
thoroughly enjoy spending time with my family. My career in
education has also provided me with a large extended family
of which I am proud to be a part. As a highly competitive,
three time champion of fantasy football, professional
football (How ‘bout them Cowboys!) is my main sport of
choice, but I enjoy watching playoff hockey and baseball as
well. My passion for teaching keeps me in the classroom at
Trevecca Nazarene University assisting graduate students
with a passion for making a positive difference in the lives
of children learn all they can to become effective classroom
teachers. When I am not spending time with my family or at
school, I can be found playing with my kids, learning,
playing guitar, or writing. My personal mission is
to teach with passion those who desire to
learn, motivate those that do not, and demonstrate
self-assurance, compassion, dedication, patience, integrity,
loyalty, and love, as a father, husband, educator, and
community leader.
