PAC NEWS
The PAC Arts, Beats, and Eats fundraiser
was very successful. The PAC raised $7,000. A big
thank you to everyone who worked on making this event successful.
PRINCIPAL OF THE YEAR
This week, Harold Ford was chosen as the
Williamson County Schools nominee to the Area Ten Principal Study
Council for the Tennessee Principal of the Year. The Area Ten study
council is composed of Davidson, Rutherford and Williamson counties and
each district can submit a nominee. The principal chosen from the Study
Council will become part of the state process. We should know prior to
May 9th if Harold will be advancing to the next level. We
are proud for him to be the Williamson County Principal of the Year.
TOP STUDENTS HONORED
MCHS top students were honored with the
rest of the top Williamson County High School students at a dinner.
The MCHS students honored were Amanda Button, Mary Evans, and Jennifer
Houts.
QUEST SPEAKER
Kristin Lindeen will be our guest speaker on August 11. She works
with QBQ! She will be at our school to speak with the students in
the morning on Aug. 11, and with the faculty in the afternoon.
QBQ! focuses on personal accountability.
PRINCIPAL AND TEACHERS HONORED
Mr. Ford, Mrs. Brewer, and Mr.
Santymire were honored along with other teachers at the Williamson
County Teachers Appreciation Dinner. Mr. Ford was the principal of
the year. Mrs. Brewer was the MCHS teacher of the year and a
presenter at a conference while Mr. Santymire was a presenter at a
conference.
MCHS TEACHER OF THE YEAR
Congratulations to Linda Brewer who has
been named MCHS Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Brewer teaches math and
geography this year. Mrs. Brewer was chosen by your fellow
teachers.
