Parents … we have FIVE (5) pairs of glasses at the front desk … we can’t find their owners!  Are your children missing their eyeglasses?

Thank you!  Thank you!  Thank you!

We appreciate all the many ways you have blessed the staff this week in treats, meals, flowers, cards, and so much more!  Your generosity is amazing!  We thank you!

FIELD DAY

Room Moms … if you could locate a “dining tent” or a “shade canopy” for your classroom that would be super!  We will be putting those on the strip of land across the back of our property closest to Ballenger Farms.  If each class has just one it will be helpful.  Since there are 30 classes, please don’t plan on “extras” J just one per class!

If you can help with Field Day be sure to let Deborah Russell or Rebecca DiCarlo know as soon as possible.  deborahr@wcs.edu   or   rebeccad1@wcs.edu

FUN FUN RUN!

We appreciate your kindness, generosity and support!  Without your generous contributions to Fun Run we would not be able to provide the “extras!”

We’ll be reporting the totals next week!

Library News

Please return all library books!  IF you believe your child has lost a book, please see Mrs. Seyfried for the replacement cost.

Library classes will continue … only check-out has been eliminated in order to count all the books J

Community Announcements

Special Cub Scouts Sign-up for Kindergartner Boys Only

If you have a son who is in the kindergarten and enjoys camping, hiking, fishing, being outdoors, belonging to a group of boys his age . . . then you might consider signing him up for Cub Scouts.  Every year, thousands of boys across the U.S. register for Cub Scouts.  Some of these Cub Scouts go on to become Boy Scouts.  Some even go on to achieve their Eagle Scout, which is the highest rank in Boy Scouts.  A lot of employers look very favorably at a man who has “Eagle Scout” listed on his resume.

At Pack 297, your son will belong to a group of boys his own age (known as a den) as well as a larger group of boys, 1st – 5th graders (known as a Pack).  By signing up your kindergartner now, he will have the opportunity to participate in the Day Camp.  The camp will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on June 2 – 6 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.  The fee to attend the Day Camp is $55.00.  This year the focus will be a Space Theme.  The camp is staffed by parent volunteers and by a camp director that has gone through an extensive training program.

The costs of joining the scouting program are less than most sports programs.  Sign-ups will take place on Tuesday, May 13 at 7:00 p.m. at Nolensville First United Methodist Church (red steeple church in historic district).  To find out more about Cub Scouts in Nolensville, call DeYo Leonard (Pack Master) at 887-7208 or email at deyo1@peoplepc.com.
