Alacia Stanbrook -
Early Childhood Autism

Alacia Stainbrook started with Williamson
County Schools in January of 2009. Prior to joining the
Williamson County team, she served as a child and parent
interventionist for the KidTalk Language Intervention
Projects at Vanderbilt University for 6 years both during
and after graduate school. On these projects, she worked
with children with a variety of disabilities, including
autism, and their parents, siblings, and teachers.
Alacia graduated with a B.A. and Psychology from the
University of the South (Sewanee) and a minor in religion.
She then went on to complete her Masters and Doctoral
degrees in Early Childhood Special Education at Vanderbilt
University.
While at Vanderbilt, Alacia also earned certification as an
Early Childhood Special Educator and Board Certified
Behavior Analyst.
Having a younger brother with special needs, she has
always had in interest and love for working with children
with special needs and their families. Alacia lives with her
husband in Nashville.
