Enrollment for Students with Special Education Services
Students receiving special education services
(IEPs) are enrolled using the same enrollment process as that used for
students who do not receive special education services. Parents must enroll
new students at their zoned school. Parents are asked to contact their
zoned school as early as possible in the enrollment process so that an IEP
meeting can be scheduled. Providing the receiving school with current
special education paperwork including the current IEP, Eligibility
Determination, and current assessments is helpful as plans are made to
determine appropriate special education services in our district.
