Cara
graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice from the
University of Alabama in 1992. She obtained her Master’s of
Social Work from the University of Tennessee in 2006.
Cara worked
for the Department of Children’s Services as a social
counselor for 2 years. She also worked in the court systems
for 8 years including working as an intervention officer
with juvenile offenders with substance abuse issues, and as
legal advocate for domestic violence survivors. She worked
for Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools as a school social
worker during the 2006/2007 school year. Cara joined
Williamson County Schools in 2008.
