ESL

Williamson County’s English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Department’s mission is to provide an educational bridge for international students to the standards expected of all American students. The program’s objective is to educate and acculturate Williamson County students while respecting and celebrating their individual diversity.

The ESOL Department offers English courses to all non-native speakers at the secondary level for every level of English proficiency. We also provide support for classroom success through a pull-out program and classroom resource in our elementary and middle schools. Our program addresses the particular interests and demands of working with international students. All our classes are taught by certified teachers and are available to any student through the age of 21 who has been designated as Limited-English-Proficient and who is enrolled in a Williamson County School.
