The Family Resource Center (FRC) is happy to announce the
theme for the Williamson County Family Resource Center’s
2008 writing contest: “Kids Rule”! This year marks the
thirteenth year of the contest. Our mission is to encourage
the art of creative fiction writing and storytelling, to
give students the opportunity to practice writing skills
learned in the classroom, as well as, to provide
opportunities for parental involvement.
In addition to recognizing the students’ writing excellence,
The Family Resource Center will recognize the schools with
the most participation and the most first place winners. The
Golden Quill will be displayed for one year at the school
with the most first place winners. The school with the most
participation will display the Crystal Quill Award for one
year.
