The mission of the Family Resource Center is to provide
programs and services that build family strengths
through prevention, education, support and networking in
collaboration with other resources in the community.
GOALS OF THE
WILLIAMSON COUNTY FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER
To ensure that
families have access to appropriate services and
receive the assistance as needed
To provide
information and programs that will enable
families to better solve their problems and meet
the needs that they are encountering
To assist
families in learning the parenting skills
necessary to promote the full development of
their children
To coordinate
and inform participants concerning the
availability of resources and accessing of those
needed resources
Encourage
further education of the children and families
in the service area.
To reduce the
number of non-school related problems for
students who use the Family Resource Center
To encourage
the social support linkages and communication
networks among families to reduce isolation and
promote the family involvement with the school
and the community
