Williamson County School
Nutrition Association

Teamwork is the key to our success

     Welcome

Thank you for supporting your local school food service association.  Feeding the students of Williamson County is such an important role in preparing them for their education day.

The Williamson County School Nutrition Association (WCSNA) is a non-profit organization formed for the support of the Child Nutrition Employees of the Williamson County School system.  The association encourages a fellowship with other employees and provides networking opportunities within the department.  The association sponsors several fund raising opportunities for the members throughout the year.  Activities may include catering events, ham sales, bake sales, chili supper, t-shirt sales and/or cookbook sales.  Money raised by the association primarily pays for training, registration and lodging for members at state and national conferences each year.  Association funds are also used to purchase food for our yearly food drive for the students and families of WCS.

Community  Involvement

The WCSNA provides many opportunities to give back to the community.  In addition to preparing food baskets for less fortunate families, the association supports food and clothing drives.  The group also sponsors scholarship opportunities for graduating WCS seniors.  An annual event for the association is preparing gift baskets to be delivered during seasonal holidays to local families in need.

Student Support

The Williamson County School Nutrition Association sponsors the Nutrition Advisory Council Art Contest each year by selecting and awarding student winners at various grade levels.
