Healthy Highlights at Williamson County Schools

Grassland Elementary 

Health Education – The physical education classes at GES  during October 6th – 31st are studying the USDA food pyramid and nutrition, along with the muscular, skeletal, respiratory, nervous, digestive, and cardiovascular system, as part of their health education unit.  The kid’s activity pyramid and life balance pyramid are also taught in the health education unit.  

Parent Week – This annual event scheduled November 7-14, 2008 allows parents to participate in their child’s P.E. class.  Parents come dressed to move and have fun with their child all at the same time.
