Healthy Highlights at Williamson County Schools

Oak View Elementary

Brain Breaks – Students at OVES participate in brain break walks during the course of the school day.  Grades K-1 walk for five minutes each day and grades 2-5 walk for twenty minutes each day. 

Country Music Marathon Team - Oak View has an average of 130 student participants in this event every year! 

Jump Rope Club - meets once a week before school to promote "healthy hearts" by learning new jumping techniques with short and long ropes, jump routines, and partner/group jumping 

Track Club - meets once a week before school to promote fitness and endurance; students log miles to achieve personal fitness goals; toe tokens are given as a reward for every ten miles completed
