Librarians - Place an Accelerated
Reader List on Your Web Site
You must have AR
and Microsoft Word loaded on your computer.
Open
Accelerated Reader
Open the Teacher
Version of AR
Click School
Open Quizzes
Determine the order
that you want the list by using the menu bar
Highlight all of the
list
Click on the first
title
Scroll down with the
scroll bar to the end of the list
Hold down the shift
key and click the last title This highlights the list.
Select Quizzes
Select Export
for AR Book Guide
Click File on
the menu
Save As – Name
the file ARList and change the location drive to your folder on the U:
Drive
Close AR
Open the File and Create a Web Page
Open
My Computer on the Windows
Desktop
Locate the AR file
and double-click to open it
It opens in Microsoft
Word
Click File
Click Save As Web
Page
Type a name
for the file with NO SPACES in the name and save it to your U:
Drive
Close Word
Copy the File to the folder with
the Web Site files
Open Network
Neighborhood on the Windows Desktop
Locate the file on
the U: Drive
Highlight the file by
clicking on it
Select Edit on
the menu
Select Copy
Locate the folder for
your web site files
Click Edit on
the menu
Click Paste
Create a link on one
of your web pages to the link
