Pinewood Heights Elementary School, located in rural southwestern Williamson County, has served families since 1954.  As the smallest kindergarten through fifth grade school in the county, we prepare students with strong academic skills and moral growth in a nurturing and family-oriented environment.  Recent test scores indicate that 100% of our students demonstrate proficiency in math and language arts.  We have an ongoing assessment process which allows us to monitor students' progress and to review students' needs through a team process which includes parents and provides varying levels of personalized intervention.

Medication

Pinewood Elementary is committed to the health and safety of our students.  While we ask that efforts be made to schedule medications during off-school hours, we realize there are times and situations that require your child to receive medication at school.  We will gladly cooperate with your child's physician by assisting your child with taking their medication while at school as long as the policies of the Williamson County Schools are followed as directed by the Williamson County School Board. Amy Morse is our school nurse and is at Pinewood two days per week and other times if she is needed. We share Amy with the Hillsboro Middle/Elementary School.
