Students are also given opportunity at the end of each
library class to check out
books if necessary.
Checkout
Procedures:
All students K-5 are allowed to check out two books for
one week. Books that
are not completed upon check-in day may be renewed. There are no
fines for
overdue books, however, checkout privileges are denied until
books are returned.
Lost books will need to be replaced. Damaged books should be
brought to the
library for repair. We understand that accidents happen:)
Learning
Opportunities:
Each week students in all grades are exposed to age
appropriate library skills, renowned authors and technology. We
strive each week to teach students how to
use the library as a valuable resource. We instill a love for
books by presenting authors that kids love. And finally, we use
our wonderful computer lab to show students how important
technology is to their education. Please feel free to visit
anytime and take part in our adventures!
