FCCLA membership is open to any student enrolled in a family and consumer science class or who has previously earned one credit in a family and consumer science class.  FCCLA is a co-curricular student organization that is part of the family and consumer science curriculum.  Members plan and implement projects that promote leadership skills.  They then have the opportunity to present the projects at the district, state, and national levels.  The chapter also plans service projects within the local community so that all members have a chance to be involved.

Meeting Time & Dates:
First and Third Tuesdays of each month at 2:45 p.m.


How to Join: You must be enrolled in a FACS class or have earned one credit in a FACS class.  Contact Ms. Hart.

Mission Statement: 

The mission of FCCLA is to promote personal growth and leadership development through Family and Consumer Sciences education. Focusing on the multiple roles of family member, wage earner, and community leader, members develop skills for life through:

creative and critical thinking

interpersonal communication

practical knowledge

career preparation.

Members wear Red and White cords at graduation.
