Career Development

Career and technical education gives students the opportunity to explore and focus on the knowledge, skills and experiences needed to obtain a successful career. At the middle school level we encourage students to identify their interests and skills and begin exploring possible career options. The Counseling Office provides guided career exploration through classroom guidance, assessment, and individual planning. A Career Center is available in the Counseling Office to help students explore careers. Students may visit the Career Center during Directed Studies with permission from his/her teacher.
