PawPrint Press Student Newspaper  First meeting is September 12 from 2:30-4:00

The PawPrint Press is Page Middle School's student newspaper. Staff members from sixth, seventh and eighth grades meet weekly to plan and produce about six issues per school year. A rolling whiteboard serves as the staff's control center at their headquarters in the computer lab every Thursday after school. Assignments are made, reporters take photographs, conduct interviews and write stories, and editors design pages using Microsoft Publisher. A new addition this year is the editorial page, which features columnists facing off "For and "Against" a controversial issue, and spotlighting a student-drawn cartoon on the topic.
