Important
Announcements: Conditioning continues this week. We will
condition on Tuesday (9/11) and Thursday (9/13) from 2:45 until 3:35pm. Girls
will meet Coach Akin and Coach Webb at the weight room at 2:40 to collect
medicine balls and head up to the track. In the event of rain, players will
still meet at the weight room to collect medi-balls and head to the D Hall
Stairwell for conditioning.
All
Physicals MUST be in before you may start conditioning.
We
will start small practice groups the week after Labor Day (9/11). Practices will be held on Tuesdays and
Thursdays. All players and parents should have their schedules at this time. If
you do not, please email or call me immediately.
Conditioning
Workout: Week of 09/11: Running; 4 – 800 meters, 3
– 400 meters (2 min. break between each) Medicine Ball workout: overhead
throw – 2x20, chest pass – 2x20, side throw 2x16 (each side); Lower
Body: wall sits - 3x 1min., squats – 2x30, squat jumps – 2x10; Abs:
crunches 2x50, toe-ups – 2x15, side leg throws – 2x16
