Mrs. McKoin-Beader |
|
Hi, I'm Tonya McKoin-Beader, and this is my fourth year here at Scales.
Prior to relocating to Williamson County, I worked for the Pinellas
County School System in Florida. I have a Bachelor's Degree in
History, and hold a Minor in Classical Studies/Antiquities. My
additional post baccalaureate studies in Anthropology and Education were
obtained from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and
Trevecca Nazarene, respectively.
I am an animal lover, to the point that my friends refer to me as "Dr.
Doolittle." I have five retired racing greyhounds, and have been
an active volunteer for over a decade with Greyhound Pets of America, a
national non-profit organization dedicated to finding permanent homes
for greyhounds after their racing days are over.
My other interests are traveling with friends, taking walks, and
spending time with my beautiful 22 year old daughter.
