My name is Jaimee Dresdner and my husband and I moved here from Orlando,
Florida so he can pursue his MBA at Vanderbilt University. I attended
the University of Central Florida, and received my Bachelor’s degree in
Elementary Education, certified to teach grades K-6. After graduation, I
taught 5 years at Arbor Ridge School (K-8) in 2nd and 3rd
grade. I was the Reading Trainer for new teachers (grades K-5) and the
Math Trainer for all teachers (grades K-2). I absolutely love teaching
and I am so thankful for the opportunity to teach at Scales Elementary
again in 3rd grade.
In addition to teaching, my other passion is dance. I have danced since
I was 6 and have taught dance since I was 15 years old. I enjoy tap,
jazz, lyrical, clogging, and Irish styles, and I am currently teaching
tap and jazz at The Dancer’s EDGE studio in Brentwood. I have had the
honor of dancing with greats such as Savion Glover, Dormeshia Sumbry
Edwards, Jason Samuels Smith and Karen Callaway Williams. I was also
captain of the dance team at UCF and competed with the best teams at
nationals every year.
I love sports and enjoy watching the
GATORS
on Saturdays and the BUCCANEERS
on Sundays!
I am now living in Bellevue with my husband Lawrence, my cat Potter
Brooks and my dog Pudge (Ori Pei). I am looking forward to a great year! |
