Reading Scales teachers have access to both Accelerated Reader as well as the Scott Foresman. Many teachers also incorporate novel studies into the Language Arts component of the curriculum.
Math Scales uses the Scott Foresman Mathematics series. This series has an on-line component at Scott Foresman where students have access to an on-line textbook and teachers can assign texts to be taken on line. The program then assigns the student lessons to remediate skills that were missed on the test.
Social Studies Scales uses the Harcourt Brace Social Studies series.
Science

Scales uses the Science and Technology for Students and FOSS Science Kits. These kits provide a hands-on learning experience in science. The McGraw Hill Science textbook is also used as a resource.

Spelling Scales currently does not have a standard spelling series. Each teacher customizes individual spelling activities.
Vocabulary Scales students in Fourth Grade use Word Wisdom. Fifth Grade students use the Wordly Wise vocabulary series. Other grade levels do vocabulary studies in conjunction with their reading activities.
English Scales uses the Silver Burdett World of Language series.
