Hello! My name is Pat Bowen and this is my fourteenth year at Scales Elementary and my twelfth year as the full time librarian.  My other experiences are as a high school teacher for one year and a middle school teacher for one year.  Scales Elementary is great place where I enjoy being around such enthusiastic students, staff, and parents.  I look forward to having another great year.

     On a personal note, I have been married to my husband, Gary, for thirty-two years and have lived in Williamson County for twenty-four years. I have three children, Jamie, Chris and Sara.  I’m the youngest member of my family; I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters. I grew up in Overton County where I graduated from Rickman High School and graduated college from Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville.

     I am a huge sports fan, but I especially like to watch my daughter play softball. I, also, enjoy watching the Titans and Sounds play ball.   I love  antique shopping and reading a good book.
