I am Sarah Lopacinski and I am
thrilled to be teaching another year at Scales. I came to
Scales in 2006 after relocating from Virginia to Williamson
County. I taught sixth and seventh grades for seventeen years
in Virginia's public school system. I love to teach science,
writing and reading. We have a very interesting class pet,
Scarlet, my albino cornsnake. My husband Tony and I went to
Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) and I grew up on a dairy farm with
six sisters (no brothers). This past summer we had a wonderful
vacation together in the Outer Banks. I love to read, spend time
with my children, exercise and cook when I am not teaching. My
husband Tony is a touring guitar player, songwriter and
producer. We have two children. Aaron is a rising ninth grader
at BHS and Lauren is a rising seventh grader at BMS. I look
forward to working with the wonderful Scales community again
this year.
