     I am originally from Cadiz, Kentucky.  I graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education.  Upon graduation I taught 3rd grade in Bowling Green, Kentucky for one year before moving to Nashville in May of 2007.  I have been teaching at Scales for three years as a part of the 5th grade team.   My wife Kelly and I were married in 2007 and last year welcomed a little baby girl, Ella Marie.  She has been such a huge addition to our family!  We are huge sports fans- Kentucky, Notre Dame, Titans, and the Red Sox.  We love to be at sporting events and outdoors!  

     I look forward to another wonderful year at Scales!
