Hello, my name is Melissa Skinner. I am excited to teach Kindergarten at Scales Elementary. This will be my seventh year teaching and I am thrilled to be at Scales!

I graduated from the University of Tennessee-Martin in 2002 with a degree in Sp. Education K-12. Over the past several years I have gone back to school to receive additional teaching endorsements in early childhood education. I have taught four years in Williamson County and two years in North Carolina. I live in Brentwood with my husband, Charley. We enjoy spending time outdoors mostly camping and hiking.

I am honored to have the opportunity to teach in Williamson County. I look forward to starting this new year together!
